DESCRIPTION:OBJECTIVE:To teach insurance professionals about the various ethical responsibilities they have to insurance companies\, to prospects and clients\, and to others. To review E&O exposures often associated with questionable ethical behavior.   DESCRIPTION:This course begins with a discussion of what ethics is and different approaches to decision making. It addresses the ethical responsibilities of the insurance producer to prospects and clients\, to insurance carriers and to third parties. Throughout the course\, participants will discuss ethical dilemmas faced by insurance producers in order to determine the best course of action. We also discuss the E&O implications in many of the areas discussed.Approved for 3 Ethics credits in Maine
